Price was definitely competitive if you were willing to live with longer delivery times but still quicker than the mail service. I had booked a service for collection on 16/9 (2 days from date booked being the earliest possible) and was then told on 16/9 that it was only going to be collected on 17/9. The pick-up window was very broad which meant having to sit around all day. Other providers have been able to give much shorter pick-up windows. Labelling instructions were also confusing - Parcel2Go said print their label and they then sent me a DHL label for printing which then had to be stuck over their label - no issues but unnecessary admin. Once DHL had collected the parcel though it all went very smoothly. P2P recommended for imports given their competitive pricing.

Parcel2go offers an excellent service by allowing people to use courier services at bulk, account holder prices. Collections are easy to arrange; payments can readily be made.
When the couriers do their job properly. pick up and deliver on time, the system runs well. However, as with all highly automated schemes it is the difficulty of dealing with the failures that shows up the bugs.
Complaints are ignored. Although I receive two or three promotional e-mails each week advertising their services I have only once received any reply to e-mails that I have sent to them. I have even e-mailed them to ask if anyone read their mail! On one occasion DHL called three times to pick up the same package, in spite of my sending repeated mails to say that it had been collected.
Missed collections are re-scheduled at impossible times even if they have already been re-booked for a more suitable time on the website.
As so often, one gets the feeling that staff numbers - real human staff that is - have been cut to the bone in favour of computerisation.
Yes, I frequently recommend their service to my customers - but only because there are no other options!
