This is the first time I have used parcel2go and to be fair the overall experiace was pretty good. The website was easy to use and I had no problems booking the delivery required. The collection was delayed by 24 hrs I assume due to the xmas rush which I wasted a complete day waiting for collection. I went on line to re arrange collection which took about 20 mins waiting for the live customer service rep to reply to my live im request.
I paid for express delivery and the parcels were delivered 2 days later.
well priced for sending certain items, however the post office is a lot cheaper for smaller items, and for certain items being sent abroad. the website is very easy to use. the couriers collect on time.
not very helpful if they loose an item youve sent. its a lot of hassle to get them to even look for the lost items, the amount of paper work and photographs, written statements, etc. that need to be sent off is a joke. and the call centre staff seem very incompetent.
its also a lot of hassle to try and get compensated for the loss, and they didnt even compensate me, even though the item was insured.
i think they try and make it very difficult to claim, to get out of paying compensation for the items they lose, or damage.
i certainly wont use them or recommend them for expensive items, however because there so well priced, for less valuable items its worth the risk for the amount saved.
so to summarise, apart from them loosing some of my items and not compensating me, ive been very pleased with the service, and the price is excellent. the cheapest on the net for uk courier services.
i will continue to use parcel2go.
