EKM Order Tracking Steps
EKM parcel tracking typically goes through several stages from the moment an order is placed to when it's delivered. Here are the common steps:
Order Confirmation: When a customer places an order on an EKM platform, they receive an order confirmation email, indicating that the seller has received the order.
Preparation for Dispatch: The seller prepares the product for shipping. This stage involves securely packaging the item and attaching all necessary shipping labels, including the tracking number if applicable.
Item Dispatched: The seller then hands over the package to their chosen courier service. The tracking information, if provided, is updated to show that the item has been dispatched.
In Transit: This stage includes all steps the package takes while it is being transported to the customer. It may leave the original shipping facility, arrive at and depart from sorting facilities, get loaded onto delivery vehicles, among other steps. The tracking system updates after each of these steps to provide real-time information on the package's journey.
Out for Delivery: When the package is on the delivery vehicle and expected to be delivered that day, the status updates to "out for delivery".
Delivered: This is the final stage, where the package is successfully delivered to the customer's specified address. The tracking status will change to 'delivered', indicating the completion of the delivery process.
Failed/Attempted Delivery: In cases where the courier is unable to deliver the package for any reason, the tracking status might show "attempted delivery" or "delivery failed". The package might be held at a local delivery center or post office, and a re-delivery might be attempted.
