Parcel2Go have announced that their new pricing strategy will save customers a total of £300,000 per year.
The company hopes that the investment will help bolster small businesses in the UK.
The price drops apply to Parcel2Go’s myHermes and Collect+ services, two of the most popular for UK deliveries.
While already offering the UK’s lowest price on non-compensation deliveries (£2.19 exc VAT for 0-2 kg), the new price drop will see Parcel2Go boast the cheapest price inclusive of Parcel Protection as well, starting at just £2.25 exc VAT.
Every little helps
With Christmas on the horizon, many families throughout the UK will be preparing for one of the most expensive times of the year.
But for online sellers, Christmas presents a great opportunity to take their small businesses to new heights.
Parcel2Go have dropped their prices in a bid to help strengthen and support businesses.
The big picture
The total yearly cost of the price cuts will be a sizeable £300,000, a sum that Parcel2Go see as an investment into their customers.
"Our customers are the cornerstone of our business,” said Marketing Director Adam Harris. “When we make a decision to strengthen their businesses by cutting their costs down, they, in turn, support us.
“Though this kind of investment is costly to us at first, it quickly becomes a win-win for both parties. That cycle of support is ultimately how our economy can grow from strength to strength.”
