Parcel Delivery to Le Mans

About Le Mans Courier Services

  • Part of the proud sporting heritage of France is the Le Mans 24-hour motor race which is held, funnily enough, at Le Mans, the capital of the Sarthe département. The town it was called Vindinium and Vindunum, during the Roman occupation and the remains of their walls, built during the 3rd century AD, can still be seen today, and are some of the most complete of their type in the country. 1923 saw the first of the famous races. Although the town has two racing circuits, the smaller Bugatti Circuit is a dedicated race track used throughout the year. The larger Circuit de la Sarthe uses public roads (closed during the event) to create the Le Mans track, stretching 81/2 miles (13.6km), where 85% of the race is at full throttle.
  • If you want a speedy way of sending a parcel to Le Mans, you need some expert advice - the kind you might get from Parcel2Go, the UK's largest online parcel delivery company. Many and varied are the options open to you, but the one we'd recommend is the simplest, and it might surprise you. We'd suggest you put your parcel to Le Mans in the capable hands of the French postal service, La Poste. Very easy, very reliable, very efficient, it's the perfect solution. Of course, we'll also happily arrange a courier to Le Mans if that is your heart's desire.
  • In either case, a mysterious five-number feature of the address is absolutely vital for accurate delivery: it's the French postal code. Since it doesn't have letters, like ours, it may seem an irrelevance, but in fact the first two digits tell a trained eye which département is the correct destination, and the last three which arrondissement - and for the postie, that's information ell worth having.
  • For a happy ending to your parcel delivery to Le Mans, wrap it well but don't go overboard - if customs want to look inside, they don't want to fight through yards of parcel tape. And customs regulations apply in France, as they do in all countries, to prevent certain items entering the postal system: if you're about to send a parcel to Le Mans and you have doubts, check carefully.

Customer Reviews for Le Mans

Ozoemenam
I found the prices very affordable and the website was very easy to use and straightforward. The only thing I did not like was that when my parcel was to be collected the van came a little bit late and this got me worried and when I went online to chat with an adviser to find out why I was quickly dismissed and ignored when I tried to ask questions to find out what the problem was and whether my parcel was still going to be collected that day. I could recommend them to friends if they have no options because I found the customer service very poor. Asides that the service was good because I got the parcel on the expected day and in good shape too.

Generally a good service. The realtime help desk was good. I found the tracking comments a little difficult to understand Ie the difference between "deliver" and "delivered" otherwise a good easy to use service
