I will not be available at the time of collection. What can I do?

If you know that you will not be available to hand your parcel to the driver there are a number of options available.

Whilst you can of course leave your parcel in a secure location, we do need to warn you that, whilst unattended your parcel will not be covered for loss or damage. In addition to this, we cannot guarantee that the driver will collect an unattended parcel as this is at their own discretion. We would also recommend that you leave a note at your property to advise the driver of the location of the parcel.

I would like to leave my parcel unattended?

I would like to leave my parcel with a neighbour should I not be home.

You can leave your parcel with a neighbour on the condition that the neighbour is a nearby address with the same postcode. We would also recommend that you leave a note at your property to advise the driver of the location of the parcel.

I would like to request a specific time window for collection.

We do not have access to the driver or their collection logs and therefore unfortunately cannot offer a more specific time for collections other than the generic timeframe for the service. Thus, the driver will be there for your parcel anytime between the times advised.

Not all drivers are provided with a company phone and therefore may be unable to call you. If they do, it is at their discretion and would usually only happen if they are having difficulty locating your property. Parcel2go.com are unfortunately unable to pass onto the courier any requests for a pre-collection phone call as we do not want to encourage them to compromise the health and safety of other road users.
