All roads lead there, and when you are there, you should do as the people who live there do - capital city, historical cornucopia and world icon, Rome is the place that, for many people, sums up Italy. With a heritage stretching back over two-and-half-thousands years, Rome has had a major effect throughout the world on art, architecture, culture, politics, law and religion - it’s no surprise that has been named the ‘Caput Mundi’ (the capital of the world) for those who don’t know it simply as the Eternal City. Famously built on seven hills, and legendarily created by one of two twins raised by wolves, Rome is a has sister and partner cities in, among others, Cairo, Kiev, New York City and London, but is formally twinned with only one - Paris.
Sending parcels to Rome is what our American cousins choose to call a ‘no-brainer’ - if, of course, you let yourself be guided by the UK’s biggest online parcel delivery company, which goes by the name of Parcel2Go. And the first thing to note is that Rome has a long-standing and well-respected postal service - which you should avoid at all costs in favour of having your parcel o Rome delivered by a courier to Rome. Safer, more secure, less subject to unexpected delays.
The bigger and better couriers are the ones we recommend: TNT, FedEx and Parcelforce, for example. But we can’t in all conscience, recommend that you go to them direct. There’s is a mystical world full of arcane phrases and impenetrable jargon which makes reaching a clear picture and a fair comparison extremely difficult. Take the easy route and book through us - we’ve pared away all the nonsense to leave with some clear and easy-to-understand info so you can make a well-informed choice. And you don’t pay extra for the service - on the contrary, our prices are often cheaper than you’d get if you went direct to arrange your parcel delivery to Rome.
And now a word of warning: you’ll make life much harder for your courier if you neglect to put the postcode on when you send a parcel to Rome. Add the Codice di Avviamento Postale, or CAP, and things will be fine.

When claiming compensation from parcel2go, I was very dissapointed to be told my claim was not upheld. However I was given a sum equivalent to the price of the damaged item in an account to be used when I next needed to send a heay bulky item. I was pleased to accept the kind offer and have since used parcel2go again. The ease of not having to take the item to be shipped to the local post office is a great help to myself as I am disabled. For this reason alone I would advise people to try their services. Once again, many thanks.

Prices are good, and there is a selection of different couriers and options. The process is very clear with all information presented well as you set up your parcel collection. I've used it several times now without any problems, so I can recommend it.
