Parcel2Go Shipping API

    Parcel2Go API

The Parcel2Go shipping API is ideal for implementing delivery solutions for any kind of website - online retailers, mail order businesses and marketplaces. Authentication is OAuth2, conforming to OpenID Connect.

    • Quoting - compare live prices across our courier network
    • Orders - create, verify and track shipments
    • Payments - PrePay, PayPal, card, or deeplink the customer into our checkout
    • Labels - A4, 4x6 and picking lists, as PDF or PNG
    • Tracking - normalised tracking stages, with webhooks for updates
    • Drop shops - geolocation search for drop-off points
    • International - customs data, tariff codes and advanced address rules

    Get started

    1. Create API credentials in My Account → API, or in the sandbox portal if you are testing.
    2. Exchange them for an access token.
    3. Send that token as a bearer header on every API call.
    POST /auth/connect/token HTTP/1.1
    Host: sandbox.parcel2go.com
    Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

    grant_type=client_credentials
      &scope=public-api
      &client_id=<client_id>
      &client_secret=<client_secret>

The quickstart walks through the whole path from credentials to your first quote.

    Environments

    Environment Base URL
    Sandbox https://sandbox.parcel2go.com
    Live https://www.parcel2go.com

API paths sit under /api and authentication under /auth on both. See Environments for the full list of URLs, and for the ways sandbox behaviour can differ from live.

    Note

Credentials are not shared between environments. Generate a separate client id and secret in the sandbox portal, and send sandbox token requests to the sandbox host.
