Front-End Developer (ReactJS)
WHO ARE PARCEL2GO
Parcel2Go is the go-to parcel delivery marketplace and e-commerce shipping platform for consumers, prosumers, micro-SMEs, and Small Enterprises. It is the undisputed category leader and one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK, with a very high annual growth rate and revenue of over £180 Million. Operating in an enormous £5.7bn+ addressable market, Parcel2go is still at the early stages of growth and the opportunities for continued substantial multiyear growth are enormous.
The business is centered around trying to make cheaper parcel delivery easier for everyone to access, helping customers find the best way of sending a parcel inside the UK or internationally. Historically, people have used the Post Office to send parcels. However, Post Offices are not always open at convenient times and are often significantly more expensive than other alternative options. Despite this, they dominate the market, with over 90% of the market share.
At the heart of the offer is an easy-to-use comparison website, that helps customers quickly and easily compare and choose the best delivery option for their needs. The other side of our business is our white-label product, designed to provide couriers with a fully hosted website solution and customer service management. Amongst our customers, we have many of the major UK couriers including DPD, DHL, Evri, and Parcelforce to name just a few.
As part of our growth plans, Parcel2Go is looking to recruit a talented front-end developer to work on one of our product teams to help us develop our market-leading product offering for our customers, creating elegant solutions for our 2million+ customers. We have a healthy appetite for new technologies and frameworks outside the Microsoft stack which is driven by our development teams, but our core technologies are C# and React front-end.
