Online shoppers in the UK set to spend more than ever in 2015

Research conducted by the Center for Retail Research has predicted that consumers in the UK will spend a whopping £52.5 billion online in 2015, considerably more than the £44.97 billion that was spent in 2014. It has also been revealed that 65.5 per cent of consumers in the UK now do their shopping online in comparison to in store.

RetailMeNot released the figures on January 26 2015, which gives retailers and parcel delivery companies enough time to prepare for popular shopping days such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
