The desk, which was first used by Luton Town boss, David Pleat in 1978 has been at the club for nearly 40 years and has seen the team go through 12 promotions and relegations and win two cups.
The desk has also been used by previous managers such as the late Ray Harford, and current manager, John Still. The club has sold the desk ahead of refurbishments.
Ed Smith, club spokesman said: “It’s a special piece of furniture – it’s got history. We thought it might be quite appealing to someone who’s got a house big enough.”
Luton Town’s Desk received 28 bids and the money will be used to fund Luton Town Football Club Projects.
