Parcel Delivery to Strasbourg

About Strasbourg Courier Services

  • If Strasbourg sounds like it belongs to another European country rather than France, maybe its location close to the border with Germany can explain things. Strasbourg is the capital city of the Alsace region and boasts just over 270,000 inhabitants. The Council of Europe (which includes the European Court of Human Rights) can be found here, as can the European Parliament. In addition to all things European, Strasbourg is a major manufacturing and engineering base and the second biggest port on the River Rhine (after Duisburg). The historic heart of Strasbourg, the Grande Île (Grand Island) was named a World Heritage Site in 1988 - at a time when no other complete city centre had received such an accolade.
  • Parcels to Strasbourg will receive a fast and problem-free journey in the hands of Parcel2Go - the country's largest online parcel delivery service. We've got the entire world of high-tech despatch wizardry at our disposal, so it may come as something of a shock when we tell that the chosen method we'd recommend for a parcel to Strasbourg is the jolly old French postal service: La Poste. But believe us, it works extremely well. On the other hand, if you won't be satisfied with anything less than a courier to Strasbourg instead, you've come to the right place for that too.
  • Essential to Monsieur l'Homme du Poste is your inclusion on the last line of the address of the sacred French postal code. What initially looks like a confused melange of five numbers turns out to have method in its madness: the first two point to the department and the final three to the commune. It's all different, though, in Paris, Lyon and Marseille - just so you know.
  • Having passed the address test, you only have to concern yourself with the wrapping, which should be a testament to safe, secure enclosure. Be a little meaner with the tape, however, than you might wish to be - it helps if the customs people take an interest in your parcel delivery to Strasbourg.
  • And if there's any doubt as to whether the contents of your package might be against French rules and regulations, check - just in case you try to send a parcel to Strasbourg in vain.

Customer Reviews for Strasbourg

Hey people sit in the comfort of your own home and wait for this company to collect your parcel, they came on time and whilst the delivery was at the back end of the time frame, it was delivered in pristine condition and my recipient was delighted, the cost was the same or possibly less than the P.O. and I was able to track my parcel,s movement from the moment it left my house.

I would like to thank Diane for sorting out a failed collection. She upgraded my service as my original courier failed to turn up. Diane was brilliant and my customers were happy. Excellent value for money as I didn't need to pay a penny more for the upgrade. I would definately recommend Parcel2go to my friends and family. Thanks once more.
