Monday 13th February | 10:22am

Ice is likely to affect eastern parts of England on Monday morning. Driving conditions could be hazardous as a result. Areas of fog are likely to cause difficult driving conditions this morning across parts of southern central England, western England, the West Midlands and parts of the Southeast.

Thursday 9th February | 11:06am

Please be aware that due to black ice and freezing rain the LA postcodes are experiencing some serious weather issues, especially LA8,LA9,LA22 and LA23. Collections and deliveries will still be attempted as long as it is deemed safe for the drivers.

A severe accident on the main A590 into Cumbria is causing severe congestion which may cause some further delays.

Wednesday 8th February | 15:11am

We are sorry but it looks like there may be snow again in some areas.

Weather forecast - Rain moving south-eastwards from Scotland into England today will in places fall onto very cold surfaces and freeze instantly, forming a layer of ice. Driving conditions could become extremely hazardous, particularly where roads are untreated.

Snow is expected tomorrow and could develop over east and northeast England later, extending steadily southwest on Friday into central and south-western parts of England and as well as eastern Wales. Whilst there is uncertainty regarding where the heaviest and most persistent snow will fall, accumulations of up to about 10cm are possible in the worst affected regions.

We'll do as much as possible to keep you updated.
