How do I return an item to PC World?

PC World has their own returns policy that can be found on their returns page. Please be aware that PC World may have revised their returns policies therefore always visit the retailer’s website first before attempting to return your items. The current summary of the main points that need to be taken into consideration are provided below.

If you have chosen to have your product delivered then you have the opportunity to cancel the purchase before or up to 14 days after the delivery. You can do this in several ways:

  • Either by emailing the PC World sales team
  • Telephoning the team on the number provided on their returns page
  • Or by writing to their sales team using the address provided.

Some guidelines before the product is returned:

  • You must have the full product along with any free accessories or gifts
  • The product should be unused and in its original packaging
  • Any DVDs, mini discs or CDs that were provided can only be returned if they are still sealed.

Cancellations and returns

You are eligible for a full refund and the product collection is also free if you return it to a store, arrange for it to be collected at a time suitable for you or by using the pre-paid returns labels.

A purchase cannot be cancelled in the following cases:

  • The collect at store option was selected
  • The product was returned without proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt)
  • The contractual services have been used (e.g. a phone subscription)
  • The seal has been broken on software products or games
  • If it’s a delivered item that turned out to be faulty

For a customer to be able to qualify for a refund, the following must apply:

  • The product is in good condition
  • It contains free accessories and gifts that were provided with it
  • It packaged in its original packaging

This policy doesn’t apply if:

  • The fault is due to misuse or faults caused by accident and neglect
  • The fault is due to normal wear and tear
