Marks & Spencer has their own returns policy that can be found on the Returns Policy
page of their website. Please be aware that Marks & Spencer may have revised their returns policies therefore always visit the retailer’s website first before attempting to return your items. Currently, the main things to note are as follows:
If you have purchase a product from the website such clothing and home furnishings
(including electrical products) then you can return them in their original packaging
within 35 days of receipt. The product must be unused and resalable. The customer
must also have a ‘parcel summary’ or some form of proof of purchase.
The parcel can either be turned to the UK marks and Spencer store (not including
Simply Food and other Outlet Stores at service stops or railway stations) or the
item can be retuned by parcel delivery to the address provided. The Returns policy
does not affect your statutory rights in relation with the distant Selling regulations.
Jewelry or adult fancy dresses cannot be returned to any of the stores and must
be returned via parcel delivery using the pre-paid postage label provided.
Things that are excluded from the refunds policy
Things like toiletries, cosmetics, bra accessories, earrings, food, bedding and
made to order products such as cushions and curtains cannot be returned and refunds
will only be given in accordance with the legal rights on these products. Therefore,
ensure that anything you buy has been correctly thought out and measured for example
before purchasing.
Other product that are also excluded from the refunds policy include Technology
and large appliances, Bridal dresses, made to measure shirts as well as gift card
and gift wrap.
