Ikea is a huge global company with different returns policies for different countries.
If you’re having trouble returning a product to your local UK Ikea branch then read
on for some of the basic things that you need to know about the Ikea returns policy. Please be aware that IKEA may have revised their returns policies therefore always visit the retailer’s website first before attempting to return your items.
The returns policy
Any unused items can be returned in their original packaging along with the till
receipt with 90 days of purchasing the item. There are certain items that the 90
day policy doesn’t apply to and these include mattresses, cut fabric, bargain corner
purchases or custom made items. Visit the website for more details on items that
are excluded.
Cancellation policy
Orders made in store to be delivered to your homes can be cancelled within 24 hours
of making the payment. After this time period you will be charged a £50 handling
fee. Any orders for custom made items cannot be cancelled.
This does not affect you statutory rights.
