Halfords has a revised copy of their own returns policy that can be accessed via
their website. It is advised to visit the retailer’s website first before attempting
to make a return.
Unwanted items
Exchanges or refunds can be made provided the returns request is put in within 28
days of receipt. Please ensure that the item is in it’s original packaging and provide
proof of purchase. Things like DVDs, memory cards and software can only be returned
if they are unused or otherwise faulty. Made to order items can only be returned
if they are faulty.
Faulty items
If you have purchased a product online and it was faulty then depending on the item,
Halfords will refund, replace or repair the item for you. If the fault in the item
has occurred after 28 days then any concerns regarding the item will be resolved
in line with the current consumer protection legislations.
Returning the item
The easiest method of returning the item is in store. However if you have purchased
the product online, then you will need to return it by post, please contact the
Halfords Customer Services team first to request a returns authorization as this
will need to be sent with the item in it’s original packaging otherwise your return
may not get processed.
