How do I return an item to E-Buyer?

E-Buyer has their own returns policy that can be found on the Returns Policy page of their website. Please be aware that E-buyer may have revised their returns policies therefore always visit the retailer’s website first before attempting to return your items. Currently, the main things to note are as follows:

The returns policy varies with the circumstances, as highlighted in the following sentences.

1. Damaged in Transit

If the product has been damaged in transit (i.e. during delivery) then this needs to be reported to ebuyer within 7 days of receipt (or 48 hours for business customers). You then need to return the product by following the returns procedure from your ebuyer account. A replacement or full refund will be issued once the products have been received at the ebuyer warehouse.

2. Faulty items on arrival

If the products are found to be faulty on arrival then inform ebuyer about this within 28 days (or 14 days for business customers). The faulty products are tested by the technicians in the ebuyer test centers. If they are found not to be faulty then the products will be returned back to the customer who will have to make payment for the return parcel to them.

3. Faulty items in warranty period

If your product develops a fault and the 28 day refund period has passed, then you can still have the product repaired, provided it’s in its warranty period. However, most faults can be repaired over the telephone using the relevant helpline numbers.

4. Change your mind?

If you have changed your mind and decided that you don’t want to buy the product after all, then you can still return it under the Distant Selling Regulations. This included informing ebuyer within 10 days of receipt of your intentions to return the product. Finally, return the product within 28 days of receipt. This Distant Selling Regulations policy does not apply for the business customers.
