How do I return an item to Argos?

Argos has their own Returns and Refunds policy, but please be aware that Argos may have revised their returns policies therefore always visit the retailer’s website first before attempting to return your items. Currently the main things to note are:

If dissatisfied with product

  • Keep all receipts and order numbers as proof of purchase for after sales enquiries and our 30-day money back guarantee should cover that. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Return any items within this period in their original condition and a full refund can be provided.
  • If returning a delivered item, then call customer care to arrange for it to be collected, quoting your order number.
  • Products that are non-returnable are marked with a "†" sign. For hygiene and safety reasons earrings, foot spas and dental products can't be returned.
  • To protect consumer's personal security, non-faulty imaging and recordable products such as MP3 players and Digital Cameras cannot be returned.

If the product is faulty

Return faulty products within 30 days for a full refund or replacement with proof of purchase. If the product has been with you for 1 year, then depending on applicability, the product will be repaired, replaced or refunded.

Large kitchen appliances are excluded from the 30-day money back guarantee. If a fault is developed within 30 days of purchase then please call the Argos Customer care team who will advise you on further actions to take.

Distant Selling regulations

Internet orders can be cancelled within 7 working days of receipt, quoting your order number, please contact customer service for more details. This does not include personalised items, audio/video recording or unsealed software, perishable goods (e.g. food and flowers) as well as periodicals or magazines. Call customer care or write to the team using the contacts details provided on the Argos website.
