London 2012 Service Updates

The 2012 Olympics and Paralympics are drawing near and anticipation is building around the world for this great events.

Due to the games, Transport for London (TfL) have made clear that there will be increased congestion, road closures and parking restrictions in a number of areas from mid-July until mid-September. With 9 million tickets sold, up to 800,000 spectators a day and heightened security at 24 Olympic venues, it’s not hard to see why!

At Parcel2Go, we want to ensure that all our customers are kept informed of any changes to services during these exciting times. All of the couriers we work with are busy coming up with detailed action plans to deal with the disruption.

We won’t be servicing a number of Olympic Venues during the Olympics and Paralympics due to security issues and long delays. Outside of these ‘lock-down’ areas, watch out for confirmation from our partners on surcharges in the affected surrounding areas.
